Admission on the Basis of Open Merit.

  Requirements 

To apply for admission, students need to have passed their Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examination(Metric Exam), and they should have achieved at least 60% marks in that examination. 

If a student has passed the SSC (Tech) examination, they will not be eligible for admission. This means that students who have completed a technical or vocational program in their SSC examination cannot apply for admission.

Only students who meet these eligibility criteria will be selected for an interview

Interview / Documents Verification

 When a candidate applies for admission based on a kinship basis, which means they have a family member who is already studying or has studied at the university, they need to come for an interview along with their parents or guardian. This is because the university wants to meet the candtheir family to understand their connection to the university.

However, if a candidate has already qualified for the written test and is called for a mandatory interview, they are supposed to attend the interview alone without their parents or guardian.

It's really important for the candidate to attend the interview. If they don't show up for the interview, it means they give up their chance to get admission. 

Deposit of Fee

 The candidates who fail to deposit their fees by the due date will forfeit their right to admission 

Admission Offer

 After the completion of all formalities about admission, the list of successful candidates shall be displayed on the GCU website.
